For cleaning sterling silver or sterling silver-plated jewelry, follow these easy steps:

The toothpaste method:

• Get a baking soda toothpaste
• Gently massage a small amount onto your jewelry
• Rinse under warm water and a gentle detergent
• Pat dry with soft cloth
• Store in a sealable plastic bag when not wearing (air will tarnish silver over time) 

For cleaning 14-K gold and gold-filled jewelry, follow these easy steps:

• Bathe in warm water with a gentle detergent and dry and buff with a soft cloth.

 Avoid chlorine products, acetone-based hand sanitizer, hairspray, body lotions, oils and perfume from getting on your jewelry.

 It’s the last thing you put on before leaving the house and the first thing you take off when you come home.
